Tripod: Training for Creative Social Action
Project Coordinator

Tripod is a small, independent workers’ cooperative which supports groups fighting for social, economic and environmental justice. We work with grassroots collectives, campaigning groups, co-operatives, community groups and charities to help them become more effective and sustainable.

We’re looking for a part-time project coordinator for ‘Organising for Power,’ a new programme which aims to strengthen movements against racism and xenophobia and for migrants’ rights in Scotland. The programme will offer grassroots organisers in-depth, long-term training, coaching and support to develop and implement strategic campaigns.

We would particularly like to encourage applications from people with lived experience of racism, xenophobia or migration who are currently under-represented in Tripod.

Here are the key details:

Pay: £8.45 per hour, 16 hours per week including paid lunch breaks.
Status: Part time
Application Deadline: 28 July 2017
Location: Edinburgh. Some working from home may be possible by negotiation.
